Radiesse™

Radiesse is a cosmetic filler that has shown amazing results in cheek augmentation. Juvederm^®

Juvederm injectable gel dermal filler is FDA approved. Juvederm works by instantly filling in and smoothing out wrinkles and folds that look like parentheses along the side of your nose and mouth, creating a smooth, natural look and feel. Juvederm is also used in lip augmentation offering fuller, natural lips. It is recommended to fill lips in your late 30’s to prevent lip lines from developing in later years.

After a treatment at our practice, results can be seen immediately. Skin will be noticeably firmer, but still feel soft to the touch. The injections last for approximately six to eight months, longer than most other temporary fillers, including collagen and fat injections.

Because it is composed of a natural substance, the body gradually absorbs the gel over time. To maintain the results of it, we recommend that patients visit our practice two times a year for follow-up treatments.

JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC

JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC injectable gel is BRAND NEW AND IS the first and only filler FDA-approved to instantly add volume to the cheek area. It gives you a subtle lift, helping to restore contour and a more youthful profile, for up to 2 years, in patients over the age of 21. Different than JUVÉDERM® XC, JUVÉDERM VOLUMA™ XC works on a different area of the face adding volume to the cheek area.

Restylane/Perlane^®

Restylane or Perlane cosmetic fillers are available at our Newport Beach practice. These fillers are composed entirely of hyaluronic acid, a natural substance which carries little or no risk of allergic reaction. When injected directly into the skin, it can smooth out wrinkles and add volume to the lips, smile lines, or other lines and wrinkles. Candidates for injections include anyone with lines or wrinkles near the lips and mouth.

Artefill^®

Artefill is an injectable dermal filler available at our Newport Beach practice. Artefill differs from other injectable wrinkle fillers because it consists of microspheres that are not actually absorbed by the body. These microspheres are made of a widely used material, PMMA, which works with the skin to produce collagen consistently over time, and provide structural support to keep wrinkles from returning. This actually allows treatment results to appear immediately, as well as improve over time. In fact, Artefill has been proven to produce noticeable results for up to 1-5 years. This also means that fewer treatments are needed in order to sustain natural-looking results. Artefill can be administered at our Newport Beach practice in one convenient office visit. Patients can then return to their normal activities immediately after the appointment.
